Sara graduated from University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Science, and then continued her education at New York Medical College where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). She has practiced in a variety of settings including acute rehab, acute care, and outpatient orthopedics. She likes working with the orthopedic population and really enjoys treating knees, shoulders, and foot/ankle conditions. She also has great interest in helping patients that have neurological deficits. She has worked with a wide spectrum of different Neurological disorders ranging from Parkinson’s disease to those recovering from a stroke. Sara believes strongly that manual therapy combined with one-on-one treatment is the best approach to patient care, which is what brought her to ACCESS. On Sara’s off time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and staying active. She enjoys watching football, baseball and basketball and will toss around a football or lacrosse ball whenever she gets the chance.
