Dr. Martha Harris grew up in Columbus, Mississippi. She graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and in 2011 from Regis University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She joined Access in March, 2011 and became a partner in 2013.
Martha enjoys all patient types, infant through geriatrics. Her passion is with the geriatric population and our nation’s veterans, as both her parents are retired from the U.S. Army. She holds the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Certification in Geriatrics.
Additionally, Martha is a certified APTA Clinical Instructor, Certified Graston Technique (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) provider, and a Certified Dry Needling provider. She has completed coursework and is certified in Job Function Matching and administering Functional Capacity Assessments through DSI Work Solutions. Martha has also completed Education for Ministry (EfM), a four-year certificate program in theological education and reflection.
Outside of work, Martha enjoys spending time with her husband and children and being a “Band Mom”.
