Wellness has recently become a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists are professionals who apply a scientific knowledge to train athletes to improve their athletic performance. They design specialized strength and endurance training programs that are relevant to their client’s sport and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.
“I have always had an interest in sports medicine, and I’m
glad to have become a certified strength and conditioning
specialist,” said Russolello. “Now I can apply this training to our athletic clients and help them become the best athletes they can be.”
Dr. Russolello received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Daemen College, where he graduated with honors. He is a current American Physical Therapy Association member of sports physical therapy, health policy and administration, research and home health.
