Tara first joined the company in the summer of 2012 as an aide in the Montgomery clinic while still completing graduate school. She graduated from Utica College with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2013 with her thesis on the efficacy of the Power Balance™ Bracelet on collegiate athletes. Later that summer, she began working for ACCESS in her new position as a physical therapist with a split schedule in Montgomery and Goshen. In the summer of 2014, she transitioned into her current position working full time in the Montgomery location. In May 2015, Tara became an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and is currently completing ACCESS leadership development program.
Tara earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Albany which she finds has been a wonderful asset to understanding and empathizing with her patients. She has a passion for helping patients of all ages and finds great enjoyment in establishing a working relationship with her patients.
Raised in the Bronx and moving to Orange County in high school, she first found her love of science while participating in Valley Central High School’s Science Research Program with her study on the effect of weather on osteoarthritis.
She now resides in Scotchtown, NY with her loving parents, younger brother and sister. In her spare time, Tara enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching movies.
